In order for a business to run smoothly, you cannot simply hire people and hope for the best. It is vital to make sure that they provide the best in quality service for your customers and clients. One of the best ways to do this is with incentives. Pay each employee what they are worth. Offer bonuses for those who go above and beyond. And check upon them. This doesn’t mean to micromanage them or sneak around like a James Bond spy, watching their every move. This means to keep track of their performances and reward those who do well while removing those who may cause your business’s reputation to be harmed. You should also pay close attention to customer feedback regarding your employees.

How to Get Customers to Give Feedback

There are many ways to encourage customers to give feedback for your business. Of course, there is the usual – customer feedback cards. In the hotel business, you might offer them with candies on the pillow or bedside table. In a restaurant setting, these cards are often found at the entrances or by the cash register. Postcards with a customer feedback list could be given to clients and customers as well. You may also send follow up emails. Of course, in today’s digital age, social media is one of the most likely places to find customer feedback for any business.

You can also offer a place for customer feedback on your company website…or link to external reviews from your site. One way to boost customer interest in websites and social networking for your company is to offer small prizes. Free samples of a product or service might do the trick. Many businesses now offer contests on social media. Customers are given product samples or services for having the most Facebook shares, etc. How you choose to encourage customer feedback really depends on the type of business that you do. The most important thing to note here is that customer feedback is no good at all unless you listen to it. You cannot please everyone, but it is important to keep up with your customer base and make improvements based on what the majority wants and needs.
